What is Parallel?

Parallel is a next-generation trading card game (TCG) that blends classic TCG mechanics with blockchain technology to give players true ownership of their digital assets. The game is set in a dystopian sci-fi universe featuring five unique factions known as "Parallels", each with its own identity and playstyle.

Gameplay

Parallel offers a strategic 1v1 experience where players build 40-card decks (one main faction and universal cards) and battle to reduce the opponent's energy to zero.

• Players choose one faction (Parallel) and build their deck around it.

• Turns alternate as players deploy units, events, and effects to control the field.

• The “banking” mechanic allows players to convert cards in hand into energy for future turns.

Matches are fast-paced, and the meta evolves constantly as new cards are introduced.

Factions (Parallels)

There are five playable Parallels, each with a unique theme and playstyle:

• Earthen: Focus on resilience and regeneration.

• Marcolian: Aggressive and direct damage oriented.

• Augencore: Machines, tech buffs, and energy synergy.

• Kathari: Control, deck manipulation, and theft mechanics.

• Shroud: Sacrifice, stealth, and surprise plays.

Blockchain Assets

Parallel integrates blockchain in multiple layers of the experience, allowing players to truly own their cards as NFTs. Assets include:

• Collectible Cards: Cards come in standard and variant forms, including animated "Prime Cards".

• Paragon Cards: Heroes that represent each Parallel, used as commanders in matches.

• $PRIME Token: The utility token of the Parallel ecosystem, used for staking, rewards, and metagame interactions.

• Crafting & Upgrades: Future mechanics will allow crafting or upgrading assets using owned items.

Web3 Experience

While Parallel is free-to-play with basic starter decks, the full experience is enhanced by owning blockchain assets. Web3 wallet integration allows:

• Using your own NFT cards in matches.

• Participating in tournaments with $PRIME rewards.

• Trading cards on the official or third-party marketplaces.

The game's mission is to give players full control over their assets and rewards, elevating competitive gameplay through on-chain ownership.

Current State & Future

Parallel is under active development and continues to grow. The game already features ranked seasons, token-based tournaments, and is expanding with new card sets, gameplay modes, and mechanics.
